June H. Hastings, 82, North Manchester, IN died Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 9:43 a.m. at the home of her daughter in rural North Manchester, IN. She was born February 14, 1928 in Detroit, MI to Raymond & Marion (Hallet) Pillsbury. She worked as a LPN in both hospital and nursing settings. She retired in 1989. She first married Robert Muench, he is deceased. She then married Charles E. Hastings in June 1968. He died October 8, 1981. She is survived by four sons, Jon Muench, Idaho Falls, ID, Jim Muench, Hubbard Lake, MI, Jeff Muench, Rexburg, ID and Mark Hastings, Warsaw, IN; one daughter, Marcy (Kim) Pratt, North Manchester, IN; one sister, Nancy Mahoney, East Jordan, MI; twelve grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. One daughter is deceased. SERVICES WILL BE MONDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2010 AT 1:30 P.M. AT WINCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, 209 STATE STREET, CHARLEVOIX, MI. CALLING WILL BE MONDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2010 FROM 12 NOON - 1:30 P.M. AT WINCHESTER FUNERAL HOME. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Charlevoix, MI.
