Joyette Bragg, 83, North Manchester, IN died at 1:05 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2015 in Select Specialty Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Logan County, WV May 16, 1932 to Willis & Maude (Estep) Chafin. Joyette retired from Eaton Controls, North Manchester, IN after 32 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to auctions and going out to eat. she is survived by her companion of 42 years, Richard Ihnen, Liberty Mills, IN; one son, Benny Bragg, Liberty Mills, IN; two daughters, Verdie (Bill) Howard, Liberty Mills, IN and Jeretta Taylor, North Manchester, IN; two sisters, Nancy (Hugh) Bryant, North Manchester, IN and Georgia Walsh, Pendleton, KY; Nine grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. Two brothers, Donald Chafin and Billy Ed Chafin, three sisters, Maudie Bragg, Edith Browning and Dorothy Funk, three sons, one grandchild, one great grandchild and one great great grandchild are deceased. Family & friends may call Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 1:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Services will be Friday, May 22, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut Street, North Manchester, IN. Pastor J. P. Freeman will officiate.
