Joyce C. Piper

Joyce C. Piper, 74, North Manchester, IN died at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013 in her residence. She was born February 18, 1939 in Spring Valley, NY to John & Martha (Hoage) Stysly. On July 3, 1980 she married Duane E. Piper. Joyce was an insurance agent in Hallandale, FL 1974-2000 and from 1987-2000 was owner of Piper & Piper Insurance Agency. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post #286 and Women of the Moose both at North Manchester, IN. She is survived by her husband, Duane E. Piper, North Manchester, IN; one son, Mark (Karen Whitt) Drotch, North Manchester, IN; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Cindy) Cook, Fort Lauderdale, FL; three grandchildren, two step grandchildren, one great grandchild and four step great grandchildren. One brother and one step son are deceased. Family and friends may call May 31, 2013 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut Street, North Manchester, IN. Services will be May 31, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. at Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut Street, North Manchester, IN. Pastor J. P. Freeman and Pastor Benjamin Bolin will officiate.
