John H. Kinzie

John H. Kinzie, 86, North Manchester, IN died at 3:20 a.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester, IN. He was born June 6, 1924 in Cass County, IN to Lester R. & Nettie (Ulrey) Kinzie. On January 8, 1956 he married Jane E. Boocher. He and his father-in-law, Noah Boocher, owned & operated Boocher Trucking from 1965-1975. He then delivered recreational vehicles for 20 years and retired in 1995. John was a member of Old German Baptist Brethren Church, North Manchester, IN. He is survived by his wife, Jane E. Kinzie, North Manchester, IN; one son, Roger Kinzie, North Manchester, IN; one daughter, Ronda S. (Matt) Pendleton, Dayton, IN; two brothers, Wayne (Miriam) Kinzie, Eaton, OH and Ron (Nancy) Kinzie, Cleveland, GA; two sisters, Evah (Russell) Rinehart, Lafayette, IN and Nina Hess, Athens, WI; and five grandchildren. One son, Robert A. Kinzie, is deceased. Two brothers and one sister are deceased. Services will be Friday, October 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Old German Baptist Brethren Church, State Road 13, North Manchester, IN. Friends and family may call on Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 2:00-5:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Old German Baptist Brethren Church, State Road 13, North Manchester, IN.
