Jerry E. McKee, 67, North Manchester, IN died at 12:15 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013 at his residence. He was born at Warsaw, IN to Jack E. & Jean L. (Diehl) McKee. On October 11, 1969 he married Donna M. Greiner. Jerry graduated from Manchester High School in 1964 and following his graduation from the Fort Wayne Police Academy in 1971, he joined the North Manchester Police Department. In 1977 he became employed with Heckman Bindery where he worked in shipping/receiving and drove truck. He retired from the Wabash County Highway Department after 31 years. He was a former Boy Scout Master of Troop # 465 and member of First Brethren Church. Jerry served his country as a quartermaster 3rd class in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War serving from 1965-1968. Surviving are his wife Donna, two sons, Scott (Kim) McKee, Muncie, IN and Mark (Nicole) McKee, North Manchester, IN. Four grandchildren, Johanna McKee, Noelle McKee, Jessilyn McKee and Analeigh McKee. Services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 12 Noon at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Friends and family may call on Saturday, March 9 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary. Pastor Kurt Stout will officiate. Burial and graveside services with full military honors will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 9 in Oaklawn Cemetery, 600 Beckley Street, North Manchester, IN.
