Jerry E. McColley, 75, North Manchester, Indiana, passed away April 20, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. at his residence. Jerry was born on July 19, 1940 in Elkhart County, Indiana, to Edgar and Violet (Brown) McColley. He graduated from Goshen High School. On October 3, 1994 Jerry married Linda Lee Copeland. Jerry was a retired union painter, and a veteran in the US Army and US Air Force. He also was part of the National Guard for many years. Jerry enjoyed spend time fishing, cooking, and most of all, spend time with his family. Jerry is survived by his wife Linda McColley, North Manchester, Indiana; two sons Edward (Lori) McColley, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Skip (Shelly) Smeltzer, New Paris, Indiana; one step-son Greg (Becky) Dome, Pierceton, Indiana; two daughters Michelle Frye, Miami, Florida, and Kristen Price, Wabash, Indiana; two step-daughters Lavada (Woody) Jarrett, Loganville, Georgia and Cathy (Mark) Davenport, Roann, Indiana; two sisters Doris Warren, Fort Wayne, Indiana and Beatrice Mast, Howe, Indiana; twenty-nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Edgar and Violet McColley, one brother, and three sisters. Family and friends may call Monday, April 25, 2016 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. Memorial service will be held Monday, April 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana . Pastor Dave Cox will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen, Indiana, at a later date. For those who wish to honor the memory of Jerry E.
