Jennie V. Weber

Jennie V. Weber, 96, North Manchester, IN died at 1:34 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2012 in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN. She was born October 9, 1915 in Landess, IN to LaMoine & Ruth (McVicker) Pulley. On April 7, 1934 she married Milan E. Torpy. He died June 13, 1968. On June 28, 1977 she married George W. Weber. He died September 8, 1981. She retired from Essex Wire in Columbia City, IN in 1977 after 10 years service. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, North Manchester, IN. She is survived by two sons, Max E. (Lanell) Torpy, Silver Lake, IN and Tommy L. (Linda) Torpy, Claypool, IN; three brothers, Harold (Mary Anna) Pulley, Bippus, IN, Ronald Pulley, Columbia City, IN and Charles Pulley, Columbia City, IN; one sister, Norma Lahr, Tucson, AZ; seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. One son, Rex E. Torpy and one daughter, Monica Janacek, one granddaughter and two brothers are deceased. Services Monday, January 9, 2012 at 12:00 noon at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN. Family & friends may call Monday, January 9, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, IN. Pastor Ladona Webb will officiate.
