Janet Fisher, 67, North Manchester, IN died at 9:45 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2014 in Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester, IN. She was born September 1, 1946 in Liberty Mills, IN to Jim & Leota (Shepherd) Howard. She was employed at General Tire for several years and then at United Technologies, Andrews, IN. Janet was a member of Victory Rock, Pierceton, IN and she enjoyed listening to music sang by her family gospel group, "The Shepherd Sisters". She is survived by one son, Terry A. (Kathleen) Fisher, Van Buren, IN; two daughters, Dawn M. (Anthony) Nero, Warsaw, IN and Lori A. (Robert) Pratt, Denver, IN; two brothers, Dallas (Carol) Howard, Liberty Mills, IN and Dale (Gloria Sue) Howard, Jacksonville, FL; four sisters, Carolyn (Ron) Isbell, North Manchester, IN, Shirley (Sam) Simcoe, North Manchester, IN, Goldie (Larry) Lewallen, South Whitley, IN and Savannah Ryan, Warsaw, IN; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. One great grandchild is deceased. Family & friends may call Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN.
