Jamie Nicole Hare

Jamie Nicole Hare, 34, North Manchester, passed away unexpectedly on November 29, 2023, at her home in North Manchester. Born at just one pound two ounces on February 9, 1989, in Fort Wayne, Jamie was the daughter of James L. “Jim” Hare and Tamara S. “Tammy” (Nance) Hare.

Jamie lived with cerebral palsy since birth. She was capable and did so many things in her life, though her body was failing her. She brought immense joy to those around her, lighting up a room with her smile and laughter. Jamie had a gift with her words and loved everyone she met. She graduated from Northfield High School in 2011, a feat that most take for granted but one that made Jamie feel so special.

The loving memory of Jamie Nicole Hare will be forever cherished by her mother, Tamara “Tammy” (Marty Middleton) Hare, North Manchester; father, James “Jim” (Grace Stephens) Hare, North Manchester; sister, Jennifer (Dwayne) Brumley, Niles, Michigan; and caregivers, Matthew Schutz and Dominik Schutz. Jamie was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Lee Hare, who died on December 29, 1993.

Family and friends may call Monday, December 11, 2023, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. A celebration of Jamie’s life will be held at the conclusion of calling with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating.
