James Michael "Mike" Gray

James Michael “Mike” Gray, 70, North Manchester, Indiana, passed away at his home on October 17, 2022. The son of Frank James and Helen Mable (Gill) Gray, Mike was born on February 26, 1952, in Marshall County, Alabama.

After graduating from high school, Mike joined the military. He served his country for a few years before working as a handyman, line cook, and baker. Mike was a hardworking, caring man who would help anyone as long as they were respectful and honest.

Mike was a family man who loved to be at home with his son, David, and his companion of thirty-two years, Deborah. He and David often played video games together. Mike wanted to provide the best life possible for his family.

The loving memory of James Michael “Mike” Gray will be forever cherished by his son, David Mefford, North Manchester; sisters, Terry Gray, Mishawaka and Frankie “Jeanie” Wingert, Florida. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and companion, Deborah Mefford.

In keeping with Mike's wishes, no services will be held.
