James William “JW” Clark Sr., 73, Liberty Mills, Indiana, passed away December 4, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born in Rochester, Indiana on August 22, 1948, JW was the son of James W. and Myrtle Lucile Clark.
A hard worker, JW drove truck to support his family along with various other jobs over the years. On November 16, 1968, JW married Golda Sue Farmer. The two were married for fifty-three years. It was in 2004 that JW retired. After retiring, JW enjoyed DJing for different events. When JW wasn’t working, he enjoyed fishing, attending and watching NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt Sr., and in the last few years liked watching football. Nothing compared to the love he had for spending time with his family, especially his children. It was however, the grandchildren that were the apple of his eye. He relished his time with each grandchild. JW lived a well lived life.
The loving memory of James William Clark Sr. will be forever cherished by his wife, Golda Sue Clark, Liberty Mills; sons, James W. “Jim” (Alexis Arnett) Clark Jr. and Christopher (Samantha) Clark, both of North Manchester; daughters, Rebecca “Beckie” (W. Alexander Moorefield) Batalis, Liberty Mills and Angela M. Thomas, North Manchester; sister, Paula Willis, Tennessee; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. JW was preceded in death by his parents, James W. and Myrtle Lucille (Daugherty) Clark, and one brother-in-law.
Honoring the wishes of JW, there will not be any services. Instead, remember how JW impacted your life.
The family of James William Clark Sr. has entrusted McKee Mortuary with care and final arrangements.
