Jacqueline L. "Jackie" Shumaker, 80, North Manchester, IN died at 8:46 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2013 at Wabash County Hospital, Wabash, IN. She was born July 29, 1932 in Wabash County, IN to Charles Wilbur & Helen (Smeltzley) Collins. In 1950 she graduated from Central High School, North Manchester, IN. On September 11, 1955 she married Billy G. Shumaker. She was employed at Triwec in North Manchester, IN for 17 1/2 years. She then worked at Custom Magnetics, North Manchester, IN for 17 years before retiring in 1993. Jackie was a member of Ijamsville United Methodist Church, Ijamsville, IN. She loved to swing on her swing in her backyard. She is survived by her husband, Billy G. Shumaker, North Manchester, IN; two sons, Frank (Sharon) Shumaker, Columbia City, IN & Paul Douglas (Jenny) Shumaker, Warsaw, IN; two daughters, Peggy (Vaughn) Callahan, Huntington, IN & Betty (Rick) Gressley, Lagro, IN; one half brother, John Steven (Toni) Cave, North Manchester, IN; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. One son, Jan Shepherd, and one sister, Carol Wood, are deceased. Family & friends may call Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN. Service Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN. Burial will be in Laketon Cemetery, Laketon, IN. Pastor Kent Harting will officiate.
