Jack D. Michel, 64, North Manchester, IN died at 8:02 a.m. Monday, January 4, 2010 at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, IN. He was born in Wabash County, Indiana on October 18, 1945 to Harmon & Ellen Louise (Harrell) Michel. On June 29, 1968 he married Charlotte A. Cox. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Jeff (Amanda) Michel and Jason (Traci) Michel, both of rural North Manchester. Also surviving are five grandchildren; Elizabeth, Skyler, Zach, Jordan and Bailey Michel all of North Manchester and a sister, Mrs. Mike (Sandy) Harrell, Warsaw, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jack was a farmer, a 1963 graduate of Silver Lake High School and attended the United Methodist Church, North Manchester. SERVICES WILL BE HELD FRIDAY, JANUARY 8, 2010 AT 11:00 A.M. IN MCKEE MORTUARY. FRIENDS AND FAMILY MAY CALL ON THURSDAY, JANUARY 7, FROM 2 - 8 P.M. AT THE MORTUARY. Pastor Larry Ray and Rev. Edward Inderlied will officiate and burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Servia, IN.
