Imogene "Jean" M. Warren

Imogene “Jean” M. Warren, 93, North Manchester, Indiana, passed away peacefully March 1, 2021 at Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester. The oldest of four children, Jean was born in Wabash County, Indiana, on April 25, 1927 to the late Merl and Mildred (Reed) Bridegroom.

As a youngster, Jean enjoyed roller skating. Her enjoyment led her to meet Ray Warren Jr. at the age of seventeen. After graduating from Silver Lake High School in 1945, it was the following year that Jean went on to marry Ray Warren Jr. on August 10, 1946. The two were wed for fifty-eight years before Ray passed away on April 22, 2005. During their time together, Jean worked as a homemaker, raising their three children. She also worked as a clerk for Coast-to-Coast Hardware Store in North Manchester. When Jean got the chance to relax, she enjoyed crocheting and worshiping at First Brethren Church in North Manchester, where she was a member. Jean was also a member of the Joy Circle at the First Brethren Church and Chester Charmers Home Demonstration Club.

The loving memory of Imogene “Jean” Warren will be forever cherished by her sons, Randy (Eldonna) Warren, North Webster, Indiana and Rodney (Susan) Warren, North Manchester, Indiana; daughter, Becky Stafford, Birdseye, Indiana; brother, Ronald Bridegroom, Columbia City, Indiana; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray Warren Jr.; sister, Sondra Sellers; and brother, Marland “Jim” Bridegroom.

Family and friends may call Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. Funeral services will begin at the conclusion of calling. Pastor Ron Burns will officiate. Burial will be at Silver Lake Cemetery, Myrtle Glen Drive, Silver Lake, Indiana 46982.
