Henry Spriggs

Henry Spriggs, 79, Peru, IN died at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in his residence. He was born in Pikeville, KY June 23, 1935 to Roosevelt & Grace M. (Spears) Spriggs. On March 27, 1963 he married Deloris Justice. Henry was a truck driver and foundry worker. He was a member of Church of the Brethren, Logansport, IN. Henry served as a Marine in the Korean War 1953-1956. He was a life member of Peru VFW Post #2067. He is survived by his wife, Deloris Spriggs, Peru, IN; four sons, Henry Spriggs Jr., Peru, IN, Jeffrey Spriggs, Peru, IN, Michael (Lora) Spriggs, Kokomo, IN and Steven (Nikkie) Spriggs, Peru, IN; four daughters, Pamela Galbreath, Peru, IN, Teresa (Brad) Boyd, Logansport, IN, Susie (Daniel) Stutzman, Peru, IN and Gloria (James) King, Peru, IN; two brothers, Franklin (Mary) Spriggs, Cicero, IL and John (Carol) Spriggs, North Manchester, IN; one sister, Jeanette (Willie) Shepherd, Pierceton, IN; twenty-one grandchildren, nine step grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. One brother and six sisters are deceased. Family and friends may call Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Services will be Friday, May 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Pastor Aron Gross will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, IN.
