Helen C. Boyer, 84, North Manchester, IN died at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester, IN. She was born November 29, 1928 in Montecello, IL to Joseph & Lena (McLaughlin) Chalk. She graduated from Sidney High School, Sidney, IN in 1947. On May 14, 1949 she married Robert E. Boyer. He died October 8, 1991. Helen was a printer at Heckman Bindery, North Manchester, IN for 35 years. She retired in July 2000. She was a member of St. Roberts Catholic Church, North Manchester, IN and enjoyed quilting. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Alex (Rebecca) Constantopoulos, Dumfries, VA; one brother, Harry (Lavonne) Chalk, Columbia City, IN; one sister, Patricia Martin, Carmel, IN; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Three brothers and two sisters are deceased. Family and friends may call Thursday, July 11, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN. Services will be Friday, July 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Timbercrest Chapel, 2201 East Street, North Manchester, IN. There will also be calling one hour prior to services on Friday at Timbercrest Chapel. Father Andrew Curry will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, IN.
