Harold R. Wrightsman

Harold R. Wrightsman, 82, Silver Lake, Indiana died at 9:56 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, IN. He was born at Flint, Michigan on April 2, 1931 to Raymond & Nellie (Flora) Wrightsman. He served in Korea in the United States Army and for 21 years worked at Tri-State Harvester, Silver Lake, IN. He retired in 1995 from Fasson-Avery Dennison Co., Fort Wayne after 10 years. Harold was an avid fisherman and attended Manchester Bible Church. On March 29, 1952 he married Esther M. Lewis. She survives. Also surviving is a son, Michael Wrightsman, Silver Lake, IN; two daughters, Joyce (Tom) Higgs, Harlan, IN and Debra Wrightsman, Fort Wayne, IN. Two brothers, Paul Wrightsman, North Manchester, IN and Ronnie (Louella) Wrightsman, Warsaw, IN. Two sisters, Mrs. Herman (Eileen) Beachler, North Manchester, IN and Carol Grindle, Laketon, IN. Thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A son, Jerry Wrightsman died November 13, 1977; a daughter, Judy Ulrey died December 6, 2011 and a sister, Patricia Cook died May 24, 2008. Services will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Friends and family may call on Monday, December 30, from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary. Arthur Cook will officiate and burial will follow at Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, North Manchester, IN.
