Harold R. Walters, 83, North Manchester, IN died at 1:38 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN. He was born May 12, 1931 in Ligonier, IN to Sherwin & Ruby (Cornelius) Walters. He was a US Army veteran serving in Korea. Harold was a self employed brick layer and a member of Eel River Community Church of the Brethren, Silver Lake, IN. He is survived by three sons, Tim Walters, Silver Lake, IN, Jeff (Julie) Walters, North Manchester, IN and Jack (Tina) Walters, Goshen, IN; Six daughters, Jodi (Jason) Barrett, North Manchester, IN, Kelli (Jamie) Stroud, Roann, IN, Patty (Travis) Coburn, Sidney, IN, Jenny (Tim) Taylor, North Manchester, IN, Joyce Walters, North Manchester, IN and Janet Walters, Tampa Bay, FL; fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Two brothers and three sisters are deceased. Family and friends may call Thursday, January 1, 2015 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Services Friday, January 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Eel River Church of the Brethren, State Road 14, Silver Lake, IN. Rev. Dan Riccius will officiate. Burial will be in South Pleasant Cemetery, Silver Lake, IN.
