Harold E. Reed

Harold E. Reed, 97, North Manchester, IN died at 2:24 a.m. Sunday, April 6, 2014 in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, IN. He was born May 15, 1916 in Wabash County, IN to John C. & Elizabeth D. (Floor) Reed. On April 3, 1937 he married Vera Lucille(Overholser). She died June 30, 2012. Harold retired in 1985 from the North Manchester Foundry. he was a member of Church of the Nazarene, North Manchester and enjoyed gardening. He is survived by one son, Richard Eugene (Sheila) Reed, North Manchester, IN and three daughters, Patricia (David) Brace, North Manchester, IN, Sherry (Robert) Curtis, Greencastle, IN and Cindy (Steven) Royer, Fort Wayne, IN; one brother, Glen Reed, Wabash, IN; two sisters, Rose Campbell, Wabash, IN and Carol (John) Fike, Fort Pierce, FL; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. One grandchild, four brothers and two sisters are deceased. Family and friends may call Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN. Services will be Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN. Pastor J. P. Freeman will officiate.
