Harold C. Davis, a beloved father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away on June 30, 2024, at the age of 73. Born in Paintsville, Kentucky, on December 1, 1950, to Jesse and Bernice (Jennings) Davis Jr., Harold leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness.
A graduate of Manchester High School, Harold dedicated thirty-five years of his life to DePuy Orthopedics in Warsaw before retiring. He was the embodiment of family devotion, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. Harold's infectious charisma and outgoing nature allowed him to effortlessly forge connections with people, leaving a lasting impact on all whom he encountered.
As a compassionate soul, Harold shared his wisdom and positivity with those around him, uplifting and supporting others until his final days. His selfless nature and caring spirit touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
The loving memory of Harold Davis will be forever cherished by his son, Joshua (Amy) Davis, Bluffton; daughters, Katie Davidson, Anderson, Elisa Davis, Fort Wayne, Amanda (Mark) Baker, Fort Wayne, Carrie (Gary) Lowe, Grabill, and Molly (Daniel) Tyler, Claypool; sisters, Linda Garringer, New Haven, Rita (Jay) Melcher, New Haven, and Alice (Bill) Zimmerle, Elkhart; twenty-two grandchildren, Drew, Emma, Cole, Issac, Damon, Tyson, Emerson, Sebastian, Isabel, Javier, Breonna, Trenton, Aleeyah, Jaida, Kenzie, Kai, Emilia, Niomie, Delaney, Kaylee, Jesse, and Evelyn; four great-grandchildren, August, Colson, Isiah, and Parker; and the countless friends he made over the years. Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Bernice Davis Jr; and brother, Kenneth Davis.
Family and friends may call Friday, July 12, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. Funeral services will begin at the conclusion of calling, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, at the corner of 400 East and 1300 North, North Manchester, Indiana.
