Harold L. Brandenburg Sr

Harold L. Brandenburg Sr., 59, North Manchester, IN died at 3:55 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2010 in his residence. He was born August 15, 1950 in Wabash County, IN to Harold G. & Ileana M. (Fitch) Brandenburg. He graduated from Pierceton High School in 1968 and served in the U.S. Army in Korea 1968-1971. On November 27, 1971 he married Yong Y. Pak. She survives. He was employed at OMCO, Pierceton, IN as a Quality Inspector since 1998. Harold was a member of Grace Brethren Church, Sidney, IN and was a leader in the Grace Brethren Boys Club at the church where he taught boys about camping, survival & wildlife. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed dressing up as Santa Clause and passing out gifts to children. He was a former member of the American Legion Post #286, North Manchester, IN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Harold L. (Michele) Brandenburg Jr., Warsaw, IN; one brother, Robert Brandenburg, Fort Wayne, IN; three sisters, Bonnie E. Brandenburg, South Whitley, IN, Linda J. (Mike) Renschler, South Whitley, IN & Kay I. (David) Caudill, Warsaw, IN; four grandchildren, Kody, Kalvin, Kaylene & Misha Brandenburg, Warsaw, IN and several nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews. Services will be Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, IN. Friends and family may call Friday, August 6, 2010 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, IN.
