Guilford E. Pennington, 85, North Manchester, IN died at 11:15 a.m. Monday, September 9, 2013 at his residence. He was born at Commodore, PA March 24, 1928 to Kenneth Rexford & Ruth Olive (Boucher) Pennington. For many years he was a salesman for Lucky Shoes in Fairlawn, OH. Surviving are his wife, Patricia (Crawford) Pennington, Sharon, SC. Three sosns, Gary (Jackie) Pennington, Blacksburg, SC; Rex (Rhonda) Pennington, Hartville, OH; Michael (Beth) Pennington, Suffield, OH. Three daughters, Cheryl Working, North Manchester, IN; Cathi (Butch) Johnson, Clover, SC; Susan (Steve) Patuc, Suffield, OH. Three sisters, Dovie (Richard) Carr, Akron, OH; Yvonne Jarvis, Cuyahoga Falls, OH; Kay (Ed) Key, Greenville, SC. Fifteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. His parents and four sisters are deceased. Services will be held Friday, September 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Cox Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave., Barberton, OH. Friends and family may call two hours prior to services at the funeral home. Pastor Ladona Webb will officiate and burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron, OH.
