George E. Spohr, 80, Centerville, TN died Monday, November 8, 2010 at 12:07 p.m. in Baptist Hospital, Nashville, TN. He was born February 22, 1930 in Fort Wayne, IN to Stanley & Gladys (Bell) Spohr. He graduated from Indiana Tech, Fort Wayne, IN with a degree in mechanical engineering. On August 5, 1980 he married Pauline (Prater) Bradford. George was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a former member of the American Legion, Bradenton, FL and the Lutheran Church. He was an avid car enthusiast and fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Pauline Spohr, Centerville, TN; three daughters, Cindy Spohr, Fort Wayne, IN, Janet (Kevin) Clifford, Columbia City, IN and Donna Spohr, Fort Wayne, IN; four step sons, Larry (Kimberly) Bradford, Duck River, TN, Rev. Gregory (LuAnn) Bradford, North Manchester, IN, Charles K. (Michele) Bradford, Bradenton, FL and Keith Bradford, Mount Pleasant, TN; two brothers, Stanley (Grace) Spohr, Avilla, IN and Donald (Mary Jane) Spohr, Fort Wayne, IN; one sister, Rosemary (Kermit) Fisher, Avilla, IN; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. One sister is deceased. Services Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN. Friends and family may call Friday, November 12, 2010 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Saturday at McKee Mortuary. Rev. Gregory Bradford will officiate.
