Francis Glen Engle

Francis Glen Engle, 77, North Manchester, IN died at 6:10 p.m. May 28, 2015 at Visiting Nurse & Hospice, Fort Wayne, IN. He was born February 26, 1938 in Jennings County, IN to Gerald & Gladys (Clarkson) Engle. He graduated from Vernon High School, Vernon, IN in 1958. On February 26, 1984 he married Mary Jane Middleton. She died October 27, 2010. He was a member of Moose Lodge #1518 and Eagles #4182 both of North Manchester, IN. He enjoyed camping at Art's Country Park, yard work, spending time at the Moose with his friends and country music. He is survived by his special friend, Lynn Daugird, North Manchester, IN; two sons, Glen Edwin (Beth) Engle, North Manchester, IN and Craig Alan (Jeannie) Engle, Wabash, IN; one step son, Steven Ulrey, Indianapolis, IN; one step daughter, Jo Beth (Steve) Swisher, North Manchester, IN; three sisters, Faye Ellis, North Vernon, IN, Sue (Howard) Pauly, Dayton, OH and Virginia Weaver, Shamokin, PA; three grandchildren, two step grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. One brother and four great grandchildren are deceased. Family and friends may call Monday, June 1, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Services will be Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Pastor J. P. Freeman will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, IN.
