Frances Marie Sutton

Frances Marie Bowman Sutton, 86, Lafayette, Indiana and formerly of North Manchester, Indiana passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 9:14 a.m. in IU Arnett Hospital, Lafayette, Indiana after a one week battle with leukemia. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 20, 1926 in Lagro, Indiana to Delbert & Harriett (Smith) Bowman, who preceded her in death. She was a 1944 graduate of Lagro High School. She married the love of her life, Wayne Sutton on December 24, 1944. He preceded her in death in June of 1984. She loved and missed him dearly every day since. She retired from Heckman Bindery at North Manchester after 40 years of service. Frances enjoyed life to the fullest but she especially loved playing euchre and bingo, mushroom hunting, gardening, and watching the hummingbirds in her backyard. Frances will be dearly missed by those surviving her. Her daughter, Cheryl Crum, Lafayette, IN, who was her pride and joy and whom she resided with for the last seven years. Her two grandchildren who brought so much love and joy into her life; Chris (Tammy) Crum, Lafayette, IN and Jenny (John) Walrave, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Five very special great grandchildren; Tori, Cooper and Carson Crum, Lafayette, IN and Jagger and Jade Walrave, Ft. Lauderdale. Two sisters, June (Joe) Noonan, Washington, MO and Sharon (Lowell) Lindzy, Silver Lake, IN and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters and her loving miniature schnauzer, Gabby who she lost just three weeks ago. Services will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, August 21 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at McKee's. Pastor J.P.
