Evelyn M. Bush

Evelyn M. Bush, 87, North Manchester, IN died Thursday, March 18, 2010 in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN. She was born April 13, 1922 in Silver Lake, IN to Ernest & Marie (Metzger) Floor. On November 9, 1944 she married Max H. Bush. He died February 25, 1990. For several years she was employed by the Paul and Sara Heckman Family in their home and also at Heckman Bindery, North Manchester, IN where she retired from in 1986. After retiring from Heckman Bindery she opened a day care in North Manchester where she cared for many area children. She enjoyed working in her yard and flowers and accompanying her three sons to several steam & gas engine shows in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. She was a member of Ivy Chapter #69, Order of Eastern Star, North Manchester, IN. She is survived by three sons, Todd (Ann) Bush, Bristol, IN; Gary (Deborah) Bush, Middlebury, IN and Kent (ginger) Bush, Middlebury, IN; one sister, Lois Ramey, Michigan City, IN; one half brother, Mark Floor, Maine; Three half sisters, Pam Ward, Warsaw, IN; Marykay Simmons, Charlotte, MI and Doris Lee Finn, Missouri; ten grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Bush, her parents, Ernest Floor and Marie Floor Sievers and one brother, Ernest Floor Jr. Services will be Sunday, March 21, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, IN . Friends and family may call Saturday, March 20, 2010 from 2:00-7:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, IN. Pastor J. P. Freeman will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, IN. For those who wish to honor the memory of Evelyn M.
