Edna R. Pence

Edna R. Pence, 85, Claypool, IN died Thursday, February 6, 2014 in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, IN. She was born October 3, 1928 in Kosciusko County, IN to Jasper O. & Minnie C. (Swope) Eakright. She graduated from Laketon High School in 1946. On January 24, 1951 she married Ronald E. Pence. He died March 4, 2003. She was a homemaker and a member of Eel River Community Church of the Brethren, Silver Lake, IN. Edna enjoyed fishing and taking care of her garden. She is survived by one son, Joe E. Pence, Claypool, IN; two daughters, Kathy R. Bolyard, Durham, NC and Martha Ann Pence, South Whitley, IN; one sister, Helen Dickey, Columbia City, IN and two grandchildren, Ben Bolyard, Durham, NC and Nichole Bolyard, Durham, NC. There will be no services or calling. Burial will be at a later date in Swank Cemetery, North Manchester, IN. Arrangements entrusted to McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN.
