Edna E. Walters Landis, 92, North Manchester, IN died at 3:25 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2013 in Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester, IN. She was born May 15, 1921 in North Manchester, IN to John J. & Rhuea M. (Roberts) Heeter. She attended Chester High School, North Manchester, IN and was a member of First Brethren Church, North Manchester, IN. On October 8, 1938 she married George Walters Jr. He died May 31, 1986. She then married Don R. Landis on April 5, 1988. He died August 25, 2007. Edna was a homemaker and was an aid at Timbercrest Retirement Community, North Manchester, IN from 1968-1975 and worked at Heckman Bindery, North Manchester, IN from 1975-1985. She is survived by one son, Todd L. (Jane) Walters, Silver Lake, IN; one son-in-law, John Fulks, North Manchester, IN; two step daughters, Joann Pinkerton, Russiaville, IN and Kadonna Holderman, Columbia City, IN; Six grandchildren, four step grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, seven step great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael June Walters in 1939 and J. Michael Walters in 2011, one daughter, Mary Ann Fulks in 2006, one grandchild, two brothers and four sisters. Family and friends may call Friday, June 14, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN and Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at Timbercrest Chapel, 2201 East Street, North Manchester, IN. Services will be Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in Timbercrest Chapel, 2201 East Street, North Manchester, IN. Pastor Kurt Stout and Chaplain Carol Pfeiffer will officiate.
