Edna J. Bitzell

Edna J. Bitzell, 80, North Manchester, IN died at 9:30 p.m. September 30, 2011 in her residence. She was born in Fulton County, Indiana on November 23, 1930 to Henry & Glenna (Altice) Perdue. She retired after 47 years as office manager for HF Group, (formerly Heckman Bindrey). She was a 1949 graduate of Rochester High School and a member of Business & Professional Women's Club, North Manchester. Surviving are her companion, Thurman Bitzell, North Manchester, IN. Two brothers, James (Joan) Perdue, Rochester, IN and Steve (Jane) Perdue, Logansport, IN. Three sisters, Donna (Billy) Tyler, Rochester, IN; Glenda (Jerry) Flory, Tippecanoe, IN and Linda Mollencupp, North Manchester, IN and many nieces and nephews. Her parents, one brother and two sisters are deceased. Services will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Friends and family may call on Monday, October 3, 2011 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary. Lu Mikesell will officiate the service and burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, IN. For those who wish to honor the memory of Edna J.
