Douglas M. Studebaker

Douglas M. "Studly" Studebaker, 59, North Manchester, IN died at 2:15 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2010 in his residence. He was born May 5, 1950 at Springfield, Ohio to Carroll & Rena (Miller) Studebaker. They are deceased. He was a 1968 graduate of Northwestern High School, Springfield and attended Manchester College where he played on the soccer team. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and Moose Lodge, both at North Manchester. He enjoyed golf and was an avid NASCAR fan. A member of the Monday Night bowling league, he was also a former member of the Fuze and CIA bands. Surviving are a son, Alec L. Studebaker, North Manchester, IN; a grandson, Isaac Studebaker, North Manchester, IN; four brothers, Mike (Cindy) Studebaker, Mt. Joy, PA; Tim (Gwyn) Studebaker, Stan Studebaker, Curt (Missy) Studebaker, all of Springfield, OH. One sister, Shirley (Doug) Erwin, Urbana, OH. Services will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut Street, North Manchester, IN. Friends and family may call on Monday, April 19, from 2 - 8 p.m. in McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate and burial will follow the services in Fairview Cemetery, Servia, IN. For those who wish to honor the memory of Douglas L.
