Douglas Michael Smith, 47, Syracuse, IN (Dewart Lake), died at 11:40 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2012 in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, IN. He was born January 28, 1965 at Wabash, Indiana to Darrell G. & Sharon K. (Flowers) Smith. His parents survive at Sidney, Indiana. Also surviving is a sister, Lynn Smith, South Whitley, Indiana. Doug was owner of Quality Design and worked for Kyle Swartz Construction, Pierceton, Indiana. He was a 1983 graduate of Whitko High School. Services will be held Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Friends and family may call on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from 4 - 8 p.m. at McKee Mortuary. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, 600 Beckley Street, North Manchester, IN.
