Doris A. Marburger

Doris A. Marburger, North Manchester, IN died at 3:00 a.m. Thursday, January 21, 2010 in her residence. She was born May 26, 1934 in Wabash, IN to Galen A. and Viola K. (Kreider) Bucher. On February 1, 1958 she married Jack L. Marburger. He died February 14, 1991. She was a homemaker, member of New Hope United Church of Christ, Bippus, IN and a member of Busy Mother's Club, North Manchester, IN. She was a military wife most of her life having lived on various military bases in the United States and Germany. She enjoyed reading, crafting, quilting and baking cookies. She is survived by one son, Douglas L. (Debbie) Marburger, Silver Lake, IN; one daughter, Dorma K. (Sam) Prough, Logansport, IN; one sister, Linda D. Martin, Fairmount, IN; three grandchildren, Aaron Prough, Logansport, IN, Leslie A. (Jason) Henthorn, Wabash, IN and Jeremy Marburger, Silver Lake, IN; one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. One grandchild, two brothers and one sister are deceased. SERVICES WILL BE WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 27, 2010 AT 10:00 A.M. AT MCKEE MORTUARY, 1401 STATE ROAD 114 W, NORTH MANCHESTER, IN. FRIENDS AND FAMILY MAY CALL TUESDAY, JANUARY 26, 2010 FROM 2:00-8:00 P.M. AT MCKEE MORTUARY. Pastor J. P. Freeman will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Servia, IN. For those who wish to honor the memory of Doris A.
