David P Curtis

David P. Curtis, 72, Wabash, IN died at 4:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in his residence.  He was born November 16, 1944 in Marion, IN to Edward & Evalyn (Bradford) Curtis.  He served in the US Navy 1965-1969 during the Vietnam Era. He was a Service Tech for IBM and Eastman Kodak, Fort Wayne, IN for 30 years retiring in 2000.  David was a blacksmith and member of Indiana Blacksmith Association, Stonestrace Long Rifle Club and Wabash American Legion Post #15.  He also participated in Mountain Men Rendezvous. He was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Portland, MO and Wabash Christian Church, Wabash, IN. On November 16, 2008 he married Susan Spann.  She survives in Wabash, IN.  He is also survived by son, Brian (Ashley) Curtis, Columbia City, IN; daughters, Shalene (Lance) Blackwood, Warrenton, MO and Tricia (Mark) Miller, Senatobia, MS; brothers, Jim (Irene) Curtis, Granada Hills, CA, John (Judy) Curtis, Marion, IN and Mike (Vicki) Curtis, Swayzee, IN and eight grandchildren. Family and friends may call Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN.  Services will be Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Chaplain Virgil Barker will officiate.  For those who wish to honor the memory of David P.
