Dale D. Young

Dale D. Young, 55, Peru, IN died Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 8:05 p.m. in Dukes Memorial Hospital, Peru, IN. He was born in Wabash, IN on January 22, 1959 to Leroy & Alonda (Ford) Young. He was a Union Brick Mason and enjoyed his work as a brick mason. He married Victoria L. Hedden in 2007. She survives. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Melissa Ann Messmer, Warsaw, IN and Kristie Lee Young, Churubusco, IN; one step son, Travis Lee, Jacksonville, FL; one step daughter, Amber Lee, Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Rory L. Young, South Whitley, IN; three daughters, Melody LaShelle, Berea, KY, Tina Moore, Columbia City, IN and Lauralee Bankston, Canton, TX and five grandchildren. One son, Michael D. Young, is deceased. Family and friends may call Friday, December 19, 2014 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Services will be Friday, December 19, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Pastor J. P. Freeman will officiate.
