Clifford H. Carpenter

Clifford H. Carpenter, 92, Warsaw, IN formerly of North Manchester, IN died Monday, November 16, 2015 at 11:51 p.m. in his residence. He was born July 28, 1923 in Pike, NY to Alfred S. & Eva Mae (Buckley) Carpenter. On May 22, 1946 he married Esther Oakes. He served in the United States Marine Corp. He was an entrepreneur & salesman and owned a hardware, car lot and filling station. He had a deep love for cars. Cliff was a member of Faith Baptist Church, North Manchester, IN. He is survived by his wife, Ester Carpenter, Warsaw, IN; two sons, Dale (Vicki) Carpenter, North Manchester, IN & Dana (Kathy) Carpenter, N. Hampton, MA; three daughters, Diane Rager, Syracuse, IN, Doreen (Doug) Olsen, Colorado Springs, CO and Donna (Chad) VanKirk, Pierceton, IN; one sister Beatrice Denison, Sinclairville, NY; seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. One brother and one grandchild, Ian Olsen, are deceased. F amily and friends may call Friday, November 20, 2015 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church, 1303 State Road 13 West, North Manchester, IN. Services will be Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church, 1303 State Road 13 West, North Manchester, IN. Pastor Andy Gathany & Pastor Doug Olsen will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, IN.
