Charles R. Engle

Charles R. Engle, 73, North Manchester, IN formerly of Beaver Dam Lake, IN died at 3:48 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester, IN. He was born August 15, 1942 in Kosciusko County, IN to Amos & Minnie (McCloughan) Engle. He married Cozzette Baker on August 6, 1972. She died April 1, 1998. He graduated from Beaver Dam High School. In 1989 he retired as a USDA Meat Inspector. Prior to his employment with the USDA, he was a truck driver for Hartzler Trucking and was employed at Strauss Veal, North Manchester, IN. He was a volunteer for the Red Cross, Warsaw, IN and enjoyed camping, the outdoors and being with people. He and his wife wintered in Texas for many years. He is survived by one daughter, Amy (Harold) Dellenbach, Lewis Center, OH; one sister-in-law, Margaret (Bev) Warford, Wabash, IN; and two grandchildren, Sherman Jane Dellenbach and Jace Landon Dellenbach.
