Charles T. Butrin

Charles T. Butrin, 93, North Manchester, IN died at 10:04 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester, IN. He was born November 21, 1918 in Canton, OH to George & Sofia (Avram) Buturian. On July 6, 1946 he married Virginia Ogburn. She died July 5, 2009. He was a retired Baptist Minister and professor of Biblical Studies at Faith Baptist Bible College in Des Moines, Iowa and Grand Rapids (MI) School of Bible and Music. Charles was a member of First Brethren Church, North Manchester, IN. He is survived by two daughters, Beverly McCoy, Winona Lake, IN and Patti Dolan, Kentwood, MI; one brother, John Buturain, Cincinnati, OH; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. One brother and three sisters are deceased. Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 2894 Patterson SE, Grand Rapids, MI. Memorial service will be Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at First Brethren Church, 407 N. Sycamore Street, North Manchester, IN. Pastor Ron Burns will officiate.
