Carolyn Reahard

Carolyn Reahard, 88, North Manchester, IN died at 9:08 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013 in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN. She was born December 2, 1924 in North Manchester, IN to Darley R. & Marie (Heeter) Seitner. She graduated from Central High School, North Manchester, IN in 1942 and attended Manchester College. On March 10, 1945 she married Thomas Rex Reahard. He died April 8, 2000. Carolyn was employed 1943-1946 in the office of Warner Brooder, North Manchester, IN and later in the office of Peabody Seating Co., North Manchester, IN from 1954 and retiring in 1984. She was a member of North Manchester United Methodist Church, North Manchester, IN and was a member and past President of the Faith Circle. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Reahard, North Manchester, IN and several nieces and nephews. One son, Paul Thomas Reahard, died in 1998. One brother is also deceased. Family & friends may call Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN and one hour prior to services on Sunday at the church. Services will be Sunday, August 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at United Methodist Church, 306 E. Second Street, North Manchester, IN. Rev. Bill Hemmig and Pastor Mark Eastway will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, IN.
