Byron C. Brunn

Byron C. Brunn, 75, North Manchester, IN died Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 9:50 p.m. in his residence. He was born November 6, 1935 at Wabash, Indiana to Glen & Lucille (Vickery) Brunn. On December 4, 1953 he married Georgia Lee Brown. She died January 19, 2003. Surviving are a son, Byron G. "Buddy" (Tena) Brunn, North Manchester, IN. Two daughters, Kim (John) Fitzgerald and Kristie Haynes, both of North Manchester, IN. A brother, John (Marilyn) Brunn, Wabash, IN. Two sisters, Vicki (Arlyn) Woodcox, Butler, IN and Glenda Cox, Wabash, IN. Ten grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren. His parents, two brothers and a sister are deceased. He was a United States Army and National Guard veteran. He owned and operated Brunn's Decorating Service at North Manchester from 1974 until his retirement in 2002 and was a member of Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester. He was a former member of the American Legion Post # 286 and Moose Lodge #1518, both of North Manchester. Byron was an avid NASCAR fan. Memorial Service Monday, September 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Congregational Christian Church, 310 North Walnut Street, North Manchester, IN. Family & friends may call Monday, September 12, 2011 from 10:00-11:00 a.m at the church. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate. Private burial at Friends Cemetery, Wabash, IN.
