Billy Shumaker

Billy G. Shumaker, 84, North Manchester, IN died at 9:57 a.m. January 6, 2016 in Wabash, IN. He was born on September 12, 1931, to John W. Shumaker and Lola (Warner) Smith. Billy worked at Warner Corp. in North Manchester, IN for 17 years and retired from BKB Manufacturing, North Manchester, IN in 1993. He was a member of the Ijamsville United Methodist Church. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He married Jacqueline L. "Jackie" Collins on September 11, 1955. She died March 25, 2013. Billy is survived by his son Frank (Sharon) Shumaker, Columbia City, IN; two daughters Peggy (Vaughn) Callahan, Huntington, IN and Betty Gressley, North Manchester, IN; one brother John R. (Jean) Shumaker, Fort Wayne, IN; two sisters Betty May Bolsover, Wabash, IN and Georgia Dean Metzger, Wabash, IN; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his parents John W. Shumaker and Lola (Warner) Smith, one son Paul Douglas Shumaker, one step-son Jan Shepherd, and one brother.
