Betty M. Kamp, 85, North Manchester, IN went to meet her Lord and Savior on February 20, 2012 at 6:35 p.m. at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City, IN. She was born June 22, 1926 at Kalamazoo, MI to John Clarence & Ethel Vivian (Chamberlain) Mowrer. She is survived by a son, Danny Kamp ; two daughters, Linda K. (Kamp) Hyden and Cindy D. (Kamp) Campbell, all of North Manchester, IN. Nine grandchildren, Linda Marie (David) McKee, Candi (Kamp) Brubaker, Kelly M. (O'Hara) Caudill, Jason M. (Betty) O'Hara, James R. (Traci) Hyden, Kara M. Kamp, John M. Hyden, Ryan M. (Sarah) O'Hara, and Bob D. Kamp. Also surviving are sixteen great-grandchildren. Betty Married Bob L. Kamp on October 21, 1945. He died December 8, 2011. She graduated Laketon High School in 1944 and was a member of Manchester Bible Church. She attended TOPS for many years, loved teddy bears and beaded necklaces. She enjoyed Bible study groups, reciting poetry for church functions, singing with the church choirs and testifying. She was an avid prayer warrior for her family. Betty was a homemaker and had worked in the dining room at Peabody Memorial Home and provided childcare for her grandchildren. Services will be held Friday, February 24, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut Street, North Manchester, IN. Pastor Matthew Staton and Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate. Friends and family may call on Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 4 - 8 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Betty will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery, Servia, IN. For those who wish to honor the memory of Betty M.
