Bernice M. Ford, 91, North Manchester, IN died at 9:28 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2017 in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester, IN.  She was born October 29, 1925 in Fairplay, CO to David C. & Mary G. (Barlow) Roth.  On June 27, 1945 she married James M. Ford.  He died October 30, 1980.  Bernice retired in 2000 from Manchester Community School where she was a cook at Laketon and Manchester Elementary schools for many years.  She was a past 4-H leader for many years and a past member of Rebekah Assembly IOOF of Colorado.  She was raised on a ranch in Colorado.  She loved to square dance, travel and spending time with the family.  She was an avid sports fan and car racing fan.  She was a member of Unity Christ Church, Fort Wayne, IN.  She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Howe, North Manchester, IN; grandchildren, Mark (Lisa) Howe and Victoria (Hank) Ioerger; great grandchild, Valleri Ioerger; brother, Jack E. Roth, Arvada, CO and sister, Velmarie Capelli, Thornton, CO. Family and friends may call Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from noon-1:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN.  Services will be Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Rev. Sue Babovec will officiate.  Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, IN.  For those who wish to honor the memory of Bernice M.
