Beatrice Jester Wampler

Beatrice Jester Wampler, 94, North Manchester, IN died at 1:45 p.m. Sunday, October 19, 2014 in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester, IN. She was born January 2, 1920 in Huntington County, IN to Walter & Flora (Rupley) Reckard. On February 23, 1940 she married Cecil Jester. He died April 4, 1974. She then married Ernest Wampler Jr. on March 21, 1992. He died August 26, 2012. She was a self employed beautician for 35 years in her home. Bea was a member of Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester, IN. She is survived by two sons, Robert (Barbara) Jester, North Manchester, IN and Kevin (Janine) Jester, Beachwood, NJ; three daughters, Gloria (Ken) Peters, Grabill, IN, Charlene (Keith) Biehl, Clearmont, NJ and Glenda (Rex) Boyer, Huntington County, IN; three step sons, Steve Wampler, Joplin, MO, David Wampler, North Manchester, IN and Jim Wampler, Fort Wayne, IN; two step daughters, Carolyn Stine, Silver Lake, IN and Gwen (William) Huddleston, North Manchester, IN; one brother, Dean Reckard, Huntington, IN; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren. One granddaughter, one son-in-law, one stepson, one brother and one sister are deceased. Family and friends may call Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from noon-2:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Services will be Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Rev. Sue Babovec and Pastor J. P. Freeman will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Servia, IN.
