Beatrice Hackworth, 89, Winona Lake, IN formerly of Rural Claypool, IN died at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012 in Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw, IN. She was born June 15, 1923 in Floyd County, KY to Jack & Biddie (Hackworth) Merritt. On August 31, 1940 she married Malcolm Hackworth. He died September 18, 1997. She was a homemaker. She is survived by one son, James (Bonnie) Hackworth, Winona Lake, IN; one daughter, Judy (Marvin) Gunter, Warsaw, IN; one brother, James (Bonnie) Merritt, Pierceton, IN; four grandchildren, one step grandson and five great grandchildren. One brother and five sisters are deceased. Family and friends may call Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN . Services Friday, November 2, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Pastor Ed French will officiate.
