Allen C. Shook

Allen C. Shook, 85, Eastonolle, GA formerly of Laketon, IN died November 17, 2009 at his residence. He was born May 12, 1924 in Richmond, IN to Ziba Allen and Grace (Kimmel) Shook. On October 3, 1945 he married Wilma J. Cooper. She died February 16, 1994. He served in the Army Air Corp serving during WWII. He was an electrician with Hughes Aircraft, Tucson, AZ; Alcoa, Richmond, IN and retired from Essex Wire, Peru, IN. He was a member and Past Master of Deming Lodge #88 F&AM and a member of American Legion, Laketon, IN. He is survived by two sons, Roy (Valetta) Shook, Eastonollee, GA and William Shook, Greenville, SC and three daughters, Becky (Don) Warmuth, Laketon,IN; Elizabeth Patton, North Manchester, IN and Susan Shook, Wabash, IN; twenty-five grandchildren, forty-one great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren. One brother and four sisters are deceased. SERVICES WILL BE SATURDAY NOVEMBER 21, 2009 AT 12 NOON AT MCKEE MORTUARY, 1401 ST. RD. 114 WEST, NORTH MANCHESTER, IN. FRIENDS AND FAMILY MAY CALL ON SATURDAY NOVEMBER 21, 2009 FROM 9:00A.M. - 11:00 A.M. AT MCKEE MORTUARY. Pastor Dan Binkley will officiate. Burial will be in Sharpee Cemetry, Peru, IN.
