Agnes P. Stanley, 92, North Manchester, IN died at 6:37 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester. She was born at Whitley County, Indiana on March 3, 1918 to James W. & Hazel (Raypole) Gaff. On December 31, 1941 she married Lloyd E. Stanley. He died August 21, 2008. Surviving are two sons, Wayne (Doris) Stanley, North Manchester, IN and Glen Stanley, Indianapolis, IN. A daughter, Kay Leslie, Warsaw, IN. Three brothers, Norbert Gaff, West Palm Beach, FL; Alpheus Gaff and Stanley Gaff, both of Columbia City, IN. A sister Ginevra Arnold, Dunfee, IN. Six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. Three brothers are deceased, Wilbert Julian Gaff, James Leland Gaff and Jesse Gaff. Three sisters are deceased, Mary Francis Gaff, Betty Nioma Egner and Ruth Coy. Agnes retired in 1983 after 25 years with Eaton Controls Co. at North Manchester. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the North Manchester United Methodist Church. Services will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, August 17, from 4 - 6 p.m. at McKee Mortuary and one hour prior to services on Wednesday. Pastor Larry Ray will officiated and burial will follow at South Whitley Cemetery, South Whitley, IN.
