Herbert "Hub" D. Bradley

Herbert D. “Hub” Bradley, 79, North Manchester passed away, February 26, 2020 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne, Indiana. On April 9, 1940, Hub was born to Richard and Viola (Howard) Bradley in Floyd County, Kentucky.

Hub was class president and was part of the last class to graduate from Central High School, North Manchester in 1959. Hub was an avid sports fan, but especially liked watching IU basketball and Chicago Cubs baseball. During summers, he could be seen at area softball and baseball fields umpiring and did so for many years. Hub loved to mushroom hunt and spend time with his family and friends, especially the 59ers club. On July 9, 1961, Hub married Sharon Myers and were married for 58 years.

The loving memory of Herbert will be cherished by his wife, Sharon Bradley, North Manchester; one son, Jay D. (Dee Dee) Bradley, Plainfield, Indiana; one daughter, Jenny (Bill) Barber, Warsaw, Indiana; one brother, Norvel Bradley, Discovery Bay, California; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Hub was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Robie, Aaron, Jesse and Ernest Bradley; and one sister, Cleo Price.

Family and friends may call, Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. Funeral services for Hub will begin at the conclusion of calling and Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate.
